Heart of the Nation
The Clean Plumber team recently hosted Greg Page, the original Yellow Wiggle, for an exclusive AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training session, as part of our partnership with Heart of the Nation. This nationally recognised course equips our entire team with the life-saving skills and confidence needed to respond effectively to cardiac arrests and medical emergencies.
Here at The Clean Plumber, we believe that being prepared for any situation is just as important as delivering high-quality plumbing services. This AED training ensures that our team is not only capable of handling emergencies but also empowered to help the community when it matters most.
Why is this training important?
Sudden Cardiac Arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, and at any time. With over 25,000 people in Australia affected each year, and with a survival rate of only 5%, immediate action is crucial. We are committed to increasing survival rates in our community by training our team to confidently use AED devices and provide essential medical support.
“This training has given me the skills I hope I never need to use, but if I do, I now know how to respond effectively to save a life.” – Nathan, Senior Plumber at The Clean Plumber.
Making a Lifesaving Difference
AED training isn’t just about being prepared for the worst; it’s about making a real difference when every second counts. This training allows our team to look out for each other, and more importantly, the broader community we serve. Having an AED on-site is essential, but knowing how to use it properly can be the difference between life and death.
By prioritising AED training, businesses not only safeguard their employees but also foster safer environments for their customers and the broader community. At The Clean Plumber, we’re proud to do our part in making our local community safer through this initiative.
“We believe it’s not enough to simply have the right tools. Knowing how to use them effectively is key, and this AED training has given our team the ability to potentially save lives.” – Jayden, Senior Plumber at The Clean Plumber
Supporting Heart of the Nation
We’re incredibly proud to support Heart of the Nation in their mission to raise awareness and provide life-saving skills. Through their work, we’re able to give back to the community and take part in initiatives that go beyond our day-to-day business operations. This AED training is just one of the many ways we contribute to making our community a safer place.
At The Clean Plumber, we’re committed to making a positive difference, and we look forward to supporting Heart of the Nation for years to come!
